Of course, over the passage of time, the spas have improved, as have the fitness facilities. So, what’s a lady to do in Las Vegas? Go to the spa and fitness center! As I’ve spent two weeks every year for the last ten years exploring the spas of Las Vegas, I’ve had the pleasure to become a bit of an expert on the subject. Now, I don’t drink, gamble and have more clothes than I know what to do with, as I live on a boat and keep most of my clothes in a climate controlled storage unit which I call my rather large walk-in closet.

I especially like the white heated lounge chairs.A Haven of Luxurious Tranquility and Fitness in Las Vegas- The Encore Spaĭue to my husband’s business, I have found myself in Las Vegas twice per year for the last ten years.

I think this spa is my favorite one in town! The relaxation lounge areas have large floor to ceiling windows that overlook views of the LV strip. I am hoping to trying a facial my next trip to Las Vegas with Naomi. I look forward to having this service every time I am in Las Vegas. This service with Naomi is super relaxing. Then came my second service – one of my favorites –Thermal detox leg & foot treatment. I had a deluxe spa manicure while seated in the zero gravity chair. She took me back upstairs to the nail area. I have been to spas all over the country and she is truly one of the nicest therapists I have ever encountered. My therapist Naomi met me shortly after I changed into a big comfy spa robe. My only complaint is the vitality pool … I would prefer a regular Jacuzzi. Next you are taken downstairs to the ladies locker room where the attendant gives you a quick tour of all the amenities and then assigns you a robe and locker. You are also given a little towelette to freshen up. I have tried many spas in Vegas and this is the only that I found that offers champagne. Being offered champagne at a spa in Las Vegas is a special treat. After being check in you are seated in the upstairs waiting room and offered tea, water, or champagne. First when you arrive the ladies at the desk are very welcoming. It is located on the 8th floor of the Waldforf Astoria Las Vegas – while a little confusing to get here sometimes since you have to transfer elevators it is certainly worth the trek. It is a place to find pure relaxation on the chaotic Las Vegas strip. The Waldorf Astoria Spa is a hidden gem on the Las Vegas strip. Overall a fantastic experience that I will recommend to anyone looking for a great spa in Vegas! Especially since the facilities are not co-ed until it’s treatment time. Perhaps for future guests they should ask them if it’s their first time at the spa, and if so, provide clearly instruction. We were not guests of Caesar’s Palace so we had no clue what to expect. It was easy to find but the lady at the check in desk assumed we knew exactly where to go and what to do.

Check in outside of the spa entrance wasn’t super clear since we hadn’t been before and we had to ask a few questions. Trash and towel disposal was not clearly marked and I’m fairly certain I may have thrown a couple towels into trash cans accidentally. A few missing/broken tiles in the hot tub or on one of the loungers, and messy grout work. I noticed small cosmetic things around the spa. The only reason I did not give a 5 was because of a couple reasons:ġ. Iyanna was a great staff attendant and was happy to show me around when I arrived. I enjoyed the selection of beverages (tea, juices) and the complimentary locker to put my personal items. They do not allow phones/cameras in the spa to protect everyone’s privacy, which is great and also puts you at ease and gives you a break from technology. If I had chosen to wear my bathing suit I was delighted to find a bathing suit spinner to dry off my suit in case I had worn it (in the shower room). Wore a towel in the steam and arctic rooms. I opted to go fully nude in the baths and felt comfortable the whole time. I particularly loved the herbal steam room and arctic room and spent a good amount of time in each. They were a 5/5!Īmenities were really fun and unlike any other spa experience I’ve had before.

My husband and I experienced the Couples Bliss Retreat today and it was well worth the money! Raven and Kim were awesome: super friendly and gave us an amazing and memorable massage/spa experience.
